Come to the Wakefield Room, The Queen's Foundation on Saturday 13 June, 9:30am-1pm, for an in-person event. The event is being lead by the Connexional Director for Inclusion, Hartwell Mhunduru and the Justice Seeking Church Officer, Hannah Fremont-Brown. This gathering will offer a trauma-informed space to explore the Church’s historical entanglement with the transatlantic slave trade and to engage in a thoughtful conversation on reparatory justice.
Whether you are new to the conversation or already engaged in this work, all are welcome.
Together, we will reflect on the theological, historical and ethical dimensions of this legacy and consider pathways toward justice, healing, and reconciliation.
Refreshments, lunch and chaplaincy support will also be provided during the event.
