3Generate
3Generate is the Methodist Church’s National Children and Youth Assembly, gathering thousands of children and young people and leaders at the NEC in October. It is a fantastic experience for children and young people, and equally great as an adult to volunteer or attend with your group.
To support our groups to attend 3Generate, the District offers a grant of up to 1/3 of the cost of tickets. The grant form will be available here for the 2027 event once tickets go on sale.

Youthscape Essentials
Youthscape Essentials is a course for those who volunteer with young people or are considering doing so. Through a series of insights about young people’s lives, skills for your work and interactions with them and character developments for yourself, you will hopefully begin to feel more confident in engaging with young people. This course has been subsidised by the Methodist Church and members of the Mission Team and some people in our local churches are licensed to run the course. Intergenerational Resources
Engage Worship – lots of ideas for worship including intergenerational or ‘whole-church worship’
Encounter Worship – a specific model of intergenerational worship taking place in a Methodist Church in Hull. Do not feel pressured to follow this model, but it might be interesting as one way that intergenerational worship involving children might look.
