We are recruiting for New People New Places (NPNP) Pioneers who will embed a culture of disability inclusion locally in Ledbury and/or Bromyard and across the District!

The primary focus is to journey alongside disabled people, families with additional needs and local support providers to identify and enable new and authentic ways to be an inclusive Christian community.

You will need:

  • Proven ability of using inclusive practices in a congregational setting 
  • Experience of supporting people with additional needs and disabilities 
  • Experience of pioneering, church planting or Fresh expressions, either as a leader or team member 
  • The ability to cast vision and inspire others 
  • The ability to plan your own work and to be able to both build teams and work collaboratively 
  • Demonstrate awareness of, and sensitivity to, issues of EDI and a commitment to the unique value of the individual in all aspects of the Church’s life 

We have the flexibility to recruit either two NPNP Pioneers, one working for Ledbury and one for Bromyard, both of whom would work a 10.5 hour week (0.3), OR to recruit one NPNP Pioneer who would cover both Bromyard and Ledbury and work 21 hours per week (0.6).

Please note that a faith is an essential requirement for this role in accordance with Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010 it is and will remain throughout the life of the employment contract an occupational requirement that the successful applicant is a practising Christian.
